This illustrated cityscape was created for a custom puzzle designed to reflect the playful and joyful spirit of Sugarwish gifting. The piece captures a lively neighborhood scene filled with small moments of celebration, connection, and surprise — mirroring the experience of receiving a thoughtful gift.
Concept
The illustration imagines a cheerful urban street where gifts quite literally arrive with delight. Balloons lift packages into the sky, a small plane pulls a celebratory banner overhead, and delivery vehicles move through the neighborhood bringing happiness to doorsteps. The goal was to create a scene that rewards curiosity, inviting viewers to discover new details as they assemble the puzzle.
Illustration Approach
Using a loose, hand-drawn style and a bright, inviting palette, the artwork blends architectural details with whimsical storytelling.
