For Vinebox’s rotating tasting collections, I developed illustrated packaging designs that visually capture the story and mood of each curated wine experience. Each collection introduces a unique theme, inviting customers to explore wines from different regions, seasons, or occasions through a cohesive visual narrative.
Concept
The design approach focused on translating the personality of each tasting collection into a distinctive visual identity. Because Vinebox regularly launches new tasting experiences, the packaging needed to feel fresh, collectible, and gift-worthy while still maintaining consistency with the brand’s premium aesthetic. Illustration became a key element for expressing a sense of place, celebration, and discovery—echoing the experience of exploring wines from around the world.
Illustration & Design Approach
Each packaging design combines custom illustration, typography, and color palettes tailored to the concept of the collection. The artwork helps evoke the emotional tone of the tasting experience—whether seasonal, celebratory, or travel-inspired—while ensuring strong visual presence both on the shelf and in digital product photography.
The packaging also plays an important role in the unboxing experience. As the first visual interaction with the product, it introduces the theme of the collection and sets the tone for the tasting journey inside.
